Amara (she/her) is a graduate student in the Trusted Science Center, advised by Tyler, and working closely with Dr. Christopher Murray.

Howdy!

My name is Amara and I am from Houston, Texas! I received my bachelors in Ecology and Conservation Biology from Texas A&M University. I love watching Astros baseball, herping with friends, hiking, and spending time outdoors. I can often be found outside taking photos of wildlife or birding with my binoculars. I love all reptiles and amphibians but my favorite by far is the American alligator!
